The plan was to drive into Lulea City centre and then skate from the South Harbour to the North Harbour with Kicksleds which (apparently) are freely available and standing at strategic spots all the way. As we pulled into the parking lot what do we see? A motorhome & yacht dealership! So Timm took the opportunity to see if they could install our Control Unit and lo and behold, they can accommodate us.
So we spent the better part of the day in (yet another) garage but at least our stairs are working again and touch wood, the pin is still intact. What has given up / not working since then is the sensor, so now we have this irritating door alarm every time the door opens (which sholuld not be when the stairs are out).
Along the motto of "If it's not something, it's something else", our Control Panel has developed an irritating flickering stripe...
